  • Question
Can I use milk in a NutriBullet?
    Community Answer
Yes. Liquids like milk and water are fine.
  • Question
Can I use hot water in it?
    Cheddar
    Community Answer
Probably not, because the hot water may damage the cup which could affect the NutriBullet's performance.
  • Question
Can it work as a food processor?
    Community Answer
Not really. It is intended to liquefy foods, so you pretty much only get one consistency. You can try to not fully blend whatever you put in it, but that doesn't work very well.
  • Question
Can I blend it without water?
    Community Answer
You can, but it may not blend as well.
  • Question
How many minutes should I wait before opening the cup after grinding roasted coffee?
    Community Answer
Wait about 10 seconds, then open it gradually.
  • Question
Can I put carrots into my NutriBullet?
    Community Answer
Yes, but chopping them up first would make the blending process easier and faster.
  • Question
Can I put crushed ice in a Nutribullet?
    Debjani Moitra
    Community Answer
Yes, you can. I have even put in whole ice cubes while making cold coffee or mango shakes. The blade cuts through everything.
  • Question
Where can I buy one of these?
    Community Answer
Try a home store like Bed Bath & Beyond, or online on Amazon.
  • Question
Can I fill the NutriBullet to the top with solids as long as liquid only goes to max level?
    Community Answer
No, you should not fill it with liquids or solids past the max level line. Doing so will prevent the blender from properly working.
  • Question
Do you strain the fiber out of the drink? I have tried using straining lids, but they get clogged too quickly.
    Community Answer
Whether or not you want the pulp is up to you; it's a matter of preference. Just keep in mind that when you remove the pulp you take away a lot of nutrients from the drink. Also, I would recommend using a strainer with larger holes if the straining lids get too clogged.
  • Question
Can I use a Nutribullet for commercial use, like for a smoothie business?
    Community Answer
My dad actually runs his own smoothie business and the blender is everything. He only uses Vitamix. He even bought another expensive brand but it just couldn't keep up, so that is a bad idea. It will save you so much time to just invest in Vitamix,or if not that company, look into the brands places like Starbucks or Jamba Juice use.
  • Question
Do you peel oranges or do you put them in with the peels?
    Community Answer
You should peel the oranges and take out any seeds.
  • Question
In what order should I add fresh fruit, frozen fruit, and ice?
    Community Answer
It's up to you, but I would recommend putting the fresh fruit on the bottom followed by the frozen fruit and the ice. The ice can get broken up quickly that way.
  • Question
Can I put nuts with my fruits and vegetable for smoothie?
    Dennis Briones-Bañez Mutong
    Community Answer
Yes, sure you can. Those nuts are the boosters, they will make your smoothie more nutritious and add texture.
  • Question
Why won't my NutriBullet push down or spin?
    Community Answer
Make sure the protrusions on the cup line up with the unit. There are three plastic contact points slightly lower than the outer rim of the unit that must all be pressed for it to operate. If your NutriBullet still isn't working, you may want to have it replaced.
  • Question
    Where is the fill line?
    Community Answer
It is written in black letters, "MAX." If it's hard to find, mark it with nail polish.
  • Question
What can I do if I cannot get the cup to go down far enough for it to blend?
    Community Answer
Your lid or cap is not on correctly. Make sure that the liquid is to the Max line. If it is over, pour out the extra and screw the top semi-tightly. Turn it upside down to make sure it is not leaking. Plug in the base, place the tall cup upside down and push on the tall cup to blend.
  • Question
How many accessories come with the NutriBullet?
    Community Answer
The accessories vary, depending on the packaging options for the unit you choose. Check the NutriBullet website to see what they have to offer.
  • Question
I'm finding it difficult to unscrew the lid from the cup. What can I do?
    Community Answer
Use a rubber jar opener, or run hot water over the lid and try to open it.
  • Question
Where does the grey rubber ring go?
    Community Answer
The grey rubber ring usually goes around the base of the blade.
  • Question
Do I have to peel a lemon?
    Community Answer
Yes, If the recipe calls for it, but you can still use lemon juice.
  • Question
    Can the NutriBullet crush ice?
    Cheddar
    Community Answer
From experience, I'd say, yes, but the blade could get damaged if you keep on crushing ice.
  • Question
How long can a Nutribullet be left running? I think I left mine on too long, because it doesn't work now.
    Community Answer
No longer than 1 minute. If you need to do so longer to achieve the desired consistency, wait 1 minute in between to allow it to cool off. If more than three 1-minute bursts are needed, allow it to cool off for a few minutes after the third use.
  • Question
I bought a used NutriBullet Magic Bullet, but it doesn't have a gasket with the extractor blade. Is this necessary?
    Community Answer
You shouldn't need one as long as you screw the piece down fairly tightly before flipping the lid for blending.
  • Question
I can't get it to start, any advice?
    Community Answer
Plug it in, then turn the lid until it goes into the base further. There are 3 small prongs that only go in when properly aligned.
  • Question
    Can I buy replacement lids?
    Community Answer
Yes, you can. I would suggest checking the official website or Amazon.
  • Question
Is it normal for my NutriBullet to have a lot of pressure?
    Community Answer
It sounds like you're overfilling the cup. You should only fill the NutriBullet to the max fill line inside of the cup.
  • Question
How do I get the blades of the Magic Bullet to line up?
    Community Answer
The blades don't remove from the lid, so there isn't anything to line up. Just screw the lid on to the cup, then insert in the base to start liquifying.
  • Question
Why did my liquids leak into the motor blade area?
    Community Answer
You probably overfilled it, and went over the "max" line. You are not supposed to do that.
  • Question
What do I do if the cup won't go down in the NutriBullet to get the notches in place?
    Community Answer
Quite often the reason it won’t work is because the power isn’t on, so the notches won’t work either. Trying to fit the cup on won’t work until you turn it on.
