1The Useless Web The Useless Web is a mandatory inclusion on any strange website list because it fetches random strange websites. It used to contain a lot more websites (it turns out that weird, useless websites don’t tend to stay around forever), but it is still worth checking out once you’ve exhausted our list.
-
2Pointer Pointer Pointer Pointer is a “strange website” classic. It only works on desktop, though. Open the site, move your mouse, and wherever the mouse ends up resting, a photograph will appear pointing at your mouse. A lot of the photos are really funny too, which helps.Advertisement
-

-
4Ouais Mais Bon "Ouais Mais Bon" is French for “Yeah, but okay.” Create your own weird little songs with these three floating heads who seem to mumble, “yeah,” “but,” and “okay.” If only we all could be so whimsical in the face of uselessness!

Paper Toilet lets you live that very specific fantasy out.
-

It’s really a next-level experience.

There is some very weird stuff in here, but it’s a rollercoaster of a ride.

Staying Safe When Looking for Weird Websites
-
1Do not open websites with expired HTTP tags. If a website fails to load fully and you get a message about there being no HTTP or HTTPS certificate, do not select the option to continue on to the webpage. These missing security tags indicate that the site is likely unsafe, as it has not been updated to protect against modern intrusions. [1] X Research source
- A lot of these strange websites are jokes, personal projects, or weird art ideas. As a result, a lot of these niche websites are abandoned when it comes to security updates.
-
2Hover over links to ensure they go to normal URLs. If you take your mouse cursor and hover over a button or link, the address will pop up. Confirm anything you’re going to click on is actually a normal URL. If you see odd strings of letters, “.exe” files, or websites that aren’t related to the one you’re on, skip it.
- On mobile, tap and hold a link to get the full URL to pop up. Then, you can read it and determine if the link looks suspicious or not.
-
3Do not enter your personal information anywhere. None of the websites we’ve linked to above require you to enter any information. You don’t need to sign up for anything or enter a credit card. If you’re browsing weird sites and you get asked to enter a bunch of personal information, do not do it. You could be getting scammed.
