Steps

Get familiar with the camera. The 'follow bone' is when the camera follows the model you choose.

Learn about light manipulation. This controls the shadows and lighting. If you want more precise control of shadows, you can install MMEffect.

Load your model. You can do this by pressing 'load' in the 'model manipulation' area (red). You can then load a model from there.(

Once you have loaded a model, it will appear in the middle of the screen.

Move your model around by pressing select, clicking a joint on the skeleton and using the 3D axis that will appear.

Locate the interpolation curve. It controls how fast and smooth your model's actions are.
- Accessory manipulation. Loading an accessory works the same way as loading a model.
