Calling the United States (US) from India requires you to dial India’s exit code, followed by the US country code and the recipient’s 10-digit telephone number. How to Call the United States from India
Dial the exit code 00 , then dial the US country code 1 . Enter the area code and local number you are trying to call. For instance, to call the US number 503-555-1234, you’d dial 00-1-503-555-1234.

Dial the recipient’s 3-digit area code. All US telephone numbers are assigned a 3-digit area code based on the city and state. There are currently over 300 area codes in the US. The area code might be separated from the main phone number with parentheses (i.e. (555) 555-5555) or a hyphen (555-555-5555).
