Color analysis is the art of determining which colors of clothing, makeup, and accessories harmonize best with your skin undertone, hair color, and eye color. The goal is to identify a palette of colors that enhance your natural beauty, make your features appear brighter, and help you look more refreshed and vibrant.

It is a system, which categorizes people into four main seasons—Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn—and then further into subcategories for greater accuracy. I use the 16 season method. Each “season” has a unique set of color characteristics (such as warm vs. cool, soft vs. bright, light vs. deep) that mirror a person’s own undertones and contrast levels.

When you wear your best colors, you’ll notice:
• Your complexion looks brighter, smoother and more even
• Your eyes and brows will appear clearer and more defined
• You may need less makeup overall
• Shopping becomes easier as you know what works for you as far as colors

It’s the ultimate foundation for your personal style journey and a simple healthy aging hack.

Personal color analysis helps you find the best colors for your clothes, makeup, and accessories by looking at your natural features - like your skin tone, eye color, and hair color. The goal is to find colors that make you look healthy, bright, and confident.

This is usually done by categorizing people into four groups called Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Each group has colors that match different skin tones and hair colors.

- Spring: Warm, bright, and fresh colors.

- Summer: Cool, soft, and muted tones.

- Autumn: Warm, rich, and earthy shades.

- Winter: Cool, deep, and bold colors.

Each season also has sub-seasons that offer more specific shades.

A color expert typically does the analysis using drapes in various shades to observe how different colors affect your skin's appearance - brightening it or dulling it, minimizing shadows or emphasizing them. The result is a curated palette that serves as a helpful guide for shopping, makeup application, and even hair color decisions!

Color analysis began in America a long time ago from the book Color Me Beautiful . It's focused on your skin tone, your eye color, and your hair color. It's focused on your skin’s undertone, which never changes, and placing you in a color season. For example, some people can wear different hues, warm and cool, and high or low value, but they are chroma sensitive. These are people whom we call in seasonal analysis, for example, bright spring and bright winter. These are people who can wear very high chroma clothing.
