Spotify makes it easy to share your playlists with other people—all you have to do is hit the triple-dot menu attached to your playlist and hit “Make public.” In this guide, we’ll walk you through all the ins and outs of publishing and privatizing your Spotify playlists, so you can share your best jams with anyone and everyone in your life.

How do you make your Spotify playlists public?

Tap the triple-dot icon if you’re on a mobile device or if you’re using the Spotify desktop app. Then, hit the “Make public” option, which is accompanied by a globe symbol. Spotify’s web player doesn’t allow you to change your playlist’s privacy settings.

I have made my playlist public, but it's not public and it doesn't show on my profile. Is there something I am missing?

Make sure that it is not a collaborative playlist. For some reason it doesn't let you make a collaborative playlist public.
