1Open your web browser. Use your default web browser like Chrome, Firefox or Edge.
- On your PC, click the icon of the Web Browser you prefer.
- Once opened, you will see the browser's homepage.

2Search “Snake.io” on the search bar. Type in Snake.io and it will direct you to the game website.
- When you type in Snake.io and click Enter, you are automatically on the game website.

Customize your name. Once you’re in the site, you will be given a default name but you can change it to your preferred name.
- You can change your default to name to your preferred one. But do note that it is limited to just 9 characters.

4Choose Control Set-up for your Snake. You can change this by following these easy steps:
- Go to Settings at the lower left part of the screen.
- Choose the Control setup you like. You can either choose Mouse or Keyboard.
- If you're using a mouse, drag it as your cursor to move your snake.
- If you're using a keyboard the "W", "A", "S", "D" keys are the ones to be used. Press W to move forward. A and D for moving left and right. S for going backwards.

Start playing. Start a new game by clicking “Play” and earn points by eating pellets and start to slither your way to the top of the leaderboards.
- Just like the mobile version, you can also Start Big by clicking the button at the bottom of the Play Button. You need to watch an ad to activate this.

6Move Your Snake. To do this, drag your mouse to the direction you want your snake to go and start collecting pellets to earn points. If you’re using a keyboard to control it, then move the snake using “W”, “A”, “S”, “D” keys.

7Collect Pellets. They are scattered around the snake arena. Pellets help you grow your snake and soar to the top of the leaderboards.

8Watch out for Bigger Snakes. Avoid bigger snakes when your snake is still small because they might eliminate you. Focus on growing your snake.
