  • Question
Do I need to bring fish on my ark?
    Community Answer
No, as the fish would probably be fine in the water. You should bring saltwater fish aboard in fish tanks, though, as rainwater is usually freshwater.
  • Question
Why do I have voices telling me to go to high ground?
    Community Answer
You've either attributed your internal monologue to some imaginary higher power, or it's time to see a psychiatrist.
  • Question
"Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch." Why do you say cypress wood?
    Community Answer
Cypress was very common, and it is a wood that has a lot of pitch within, and will stand up to not rotting and last a lifetime.
  • Question
How did Noah feed all of his animals?
    Community Answer
If the Bible is true, and Noah managed to build a boat of giant proportions in his era and lifetime, gather animals and prevent them from eating each other, two of almost every animal on earth, I don't see why he couldn't have stocked up on food as well and used rain barrels for water.
  • Question
Do I need planning permission to build an ark?
    Community Answer
If you are fined, say you will pay the fine 40 days and 40 nights after the completion of the ark. Seriously though, you should check in with your local municipality about any planning issues but if it's able to be moved and is not a permanent structure, you should be fine (not fined).
  • Question
Does this create a big ark or just a model?
    Community Answer
A big ark. However, you can build whatever sized ark you would like.
  • Question

It's not clear how "gopher wood" should be translated. Some do believe it means "cypress."
