Some people may also describe what is soon going to happen in the future.

  • Question
Would writing in a diary make me isolated from my circle, because I'd share everything with it and not friends?
    Tom De Backer
    Top Answerer
No. Because you don't need to share anything, let alone everything, in order to have friends. You don't need to keep sharing things, like fuel, to keep the friendship going. If you don't want to tell them you have cancer, you don't have to, and they'll find out at your funeral. And if you are not forced to share such a huge thing, you're definitely not forced to share any smaller things. Finally, there's no reason why you can't share stuff with both your diary and your friends.
  • Question
Can I take notes about a particular day if I am unable to write and later write in the details?
    Community Answer
Of course, you're probably the only one who's going to read it, so you can organize it however you want, write in or leave out as much as you want, write several entries about the same day, etc. It's your diary!
