How do I stop squirrels from digging up my daffodils?

Try soaking jalapeños in water overnight. Then transfer the jalapeño liquid to a squirt spray bottle. Spray the area of the bulbs with this liquid and the squirrels will keep away. It also helps repel cats and dogs etc. It must be reapplied every few days though, as it evaporates, especially with moisture present.
