How do I guess a person's age by their appearance?

So I'm 17M, I am wondering how can I tell how old this girl is. I've seen this girl only one time so far, but I have seen a picture online of her, and I can't tell if she looks considerably around my age or not. My generation looks like everyone is in their 20s, so idk lol any advice?

When you're trying to find out a girl's age, the easiest thing you can do is looking up her profile on social media to see if you can find her birthday listed somewhere. If you don't have access to her social media, you may be able to tell from some other details:
  • Check her clothes to see what styles she wears. You may be able to guess her age based on her fashion trends.
  • Watch how she behaves around other people and if she acts mature or not.
  • Listen to the words she uses and make note of any generational slang terms.
If you're still not sure about her age, then there's no problem with politely asking how old she is .

But asking someone how old they are is considered disrespectful, or I think in cultures they go by that. Or by only elder's. But I mean I feel like I learned it but It's not always nice to ask someone for their age. Randomly. Hmmm, I mean yes, I think it's fine to but I got taught by that way.

So how do you actually talk to girls?
