It depends on the company you want to get a job with. Employers who commonly accept applications in person include restaurants, grocery stores. and other retail businesses. These employers often have an immediate need to fill and are therefore eager to expedite the hiring process. They also usually do not require a resume to apply, so it would be appropriate to walk into one of these businesses and ask to apply for an open position.
