    Expert Answer
The best instructor is playing the game. It's definitely great to know the concepts, but you have to play. Make sure to get hours and hours of practice and touches on the ball.
  • Question
What is the procedure when passing?
    Community Answer
Before receiving the ball, always know where your teammates are, and try to keep your head up. Do not try to do long balls or cross-field balls in the starting. Start with simple, short passes, and go from there. Pass with the correct part of your feet.
  • Question
What is the best way to defend a pass?
    Community Answer
You can't be afraid. Your opponent will see it and use it against you. Don't stand still; keep moving and pass when you can.
  • Question
How do I pass so it will get to the other player instantly?
    Community Answer
When passing, make sure you swing through the pass, don't just stop after you kick the ball. That way the ball will have more speed and reach the other player quicker.
  • Question
How do I pass while on the move?
    Community Answer
Leading your target is the key. Leading a pass is when you pass the ball a little in front of your target so that they have caught up to it as it gets to their feet.
  • Question
How do I pass with power?
    Community Answer
Once you are in position, plant your weak foot (non-passing foot) parallel to the ball, pointing to the target (intended player). Use the inside of your foot to connect solidly with the middle of the ball, making sure to follow through. Use all of the power you can generate from your leg muscles -- working on leg exercises will help add more power to your pass too.
  • Question
If I have the ball and someone knocks me down for the ball, is it a foul?
    Community Answer
It depends where have you been fouled. If it is outside the penalty box, you get a free kick. If it is inside the penalty box, then it is a penalty.
  • Question
How do I pass the ball high and with power like the professional footballers do?
    Community Answer
Hit the ball low and hard, but don't lean back or you will get backspin. Lean forward, but not too much because you need to see where your pass is going.
  • Question
I actually do not know how to take are penalty using the inner part of the foot.
    Community Answer
If you don't know how, practice it. But if you never practice, you'll never get better. If you are comfortable using the outside of the foot, then use it, with accuracy.
