The alphabet makes similar noises to english except more soft and with the tongue closer to the throat than to the teeth. If you see a word ending with s or e, you don't pronounce it. Typically it goes like this: A,â,à-ah E,ê,è,oe - uh. If a word ends in t, the e will make an ey sound é- ey I,î- it's a mix between ah and uh. If a word ends with an e, the it will make an ee sound. oi- wah O,ô- oh U,û- oo ç- makes an s sound Sometimes if a word ends in re, it won't make a sound. And if you're ever really stumped, you can go on an online dictionary that is able to say the words and you can hear how it's pronounced.
