Question

Remote is not working. Tried reset pairing, turned off TV, replaced remote batteries. No light on Samsung TV remote at all.

Can a Samsung remote be paired to just one Samsung TV? My remote affects all Samsung TVs in the same vicinity. The old Pioneer DVRs could pair uniquely to one DVR to avoid confusion.

Your remote is not the same as the one that this article applies to. You are not using a Smart Remote. You are using a universal IR remote.
