  • Question
Can I use a simple enamel spray paint? If not, (aside from the ideal tinting spray) what kind of spray paint can I use?
    Community Answer
Use ONLY tinting spray. Enamel based spray paints will not allow light to pass through and will destroy the lens of your light.
  • Question
    Which way is better?
    Community Answer
Film tint is a little trickier to get the hang of, but will give more professional results and does not require removal of the light. The biggest benefit to film is that it is directional so it will not restrict the light output and therefore won't make your lights look dim.
  • Question
Is it possible for me to tint a 2002 Mazda's taillights?
    Community Answer
Yes, you can. You can probably buy pre-cut vinyl covers for just about any Mazda.
  • Question
How to remove film from tinted tail lights?
    Community Answer
Use a plastic razor and some WD-40. It takes some elbow grease but it did an excellent job of taking the plasti-dip off of my car's taillights. Finish off with another layer of WD and a rag and they should shine and be clear again.
