Any user can block you on X, formerly known as Twitter. If they do so, you can't see their Tweets. However, there is an easy way to work around this and view their Tweets anyway, if they don't have a private account.

Log out of your Twitter account or open an incognito browser tab. Past the user's profile URL into your navigation bar and hit Enter. Now, you'll be able to see their profile, even if you've blocked them, or they've blocked you.

  1. Open www.twitter.com in a web browser and go to the user who has blocked you on X.
  2. Move to the URL box and copy their X page's URL (e.g. https://twitter.com/wikiHow ).

  3. Log out of X . Click on your profile picture and click on Log out . Alternatively, open a private or incognito tab on your browser to skip the log-out step.
  4. This will load up the X profile of the user who has blocked you. However, you can't interact with their tweets without logging in to an account.

  • Question
Why would somebody block me from liking their tweets?
    Community Answer
Maybe they mistook you for somebody else, or maybe they clicked the "block" button by accident. If you know them in real life, ask them. If not, you could try asking a friend to contact them and ask them why you were blocked.
  • Question
Is there a way to see private tweets?

    Community Answer
The only way to currently view private tweets is if the account owner gave you permission to view them.
  • Question
I want to know when a Twitter user blocked me. Is there a means to determine this?
    Community Answer
No, there isn't. There is no way to know what time a user blocked you, unless they did it when you were viewing their page and refreshed.
