Recently, I have seen a lot of people requesting ideas for the site and for the wikiHow Forums to make them better. While this is great, we have to keep in mind that wikiHow has a very small staff compared to other websites of the same popularity, and our fine wikiHaus (staff at wikiHow) have to do everythingin terms of keeping the site up. If you are going to post a request for a new tool/widget/feature, please consider the following questions before hitting the post button. Is this absolutely necessary to build a tool to do this? Or can I easily find a way to make do without it? Is the issue a big enough of a deal to spend precious time and energy working on it? If I had a job at the wikiHaus, would I be motivated to carry out the development of the feature? Is it impossible for non-wikiHau wikiHowians to build the feature themselves? If you answered no to any of the questions, then think twice about posting a new proposal. Thanks:wink:

^ Yep, right on. (:

Mmhmm. However, you have to remember that it’s okay to post, and see if your idea would make a difference. That’s how we got the Quick Note tool for RCP, someone proposed an idea in the Forums and now we have it! =) It never hurts to tell people an idea; but agree with what JirachiQueen said. =) June Days
