Recently, I’ve taken upon myself to reduce a backlog in what’s called the WantedTemplates script. The script finds incorrect templates and combines them into WhatLinksHere pages and tells the reader where these incorrect templates sit. In my actions, I’ve been reducing the backlog by removing and/or fixing templates that were either removed (a long time ago) or moved (title change, more often). While the number was above 900 entries when I first started, entries could have many, many titles in them. With the exception of a few “invalid entry” errors on a few lines, I’ve gotten them down to about 37. However, don’t let that number fool you. There are some coming up where these templates were used on over 100 pages - however, that’s not too common.
I’m sorry if my edits were looking scary, but I hope this clarifies things a bit. LIke I said, I’m not done just yet. If you’d like to help me out reduce it to near zero (please continue reading before choosing to start), please feel free to contact me. There a few things I’ve seen from working this list, that I just haven’t gotten to the point of starting an article on just yet before I mention the link here.
Thanks for the explanation. I was wondering why any one was editing content from years and years ago.
Ok. Moved this discussion to Collab Corner. Sorry for the confusion.
Okay. Thanks for sharing. Well done for all the cleaning up.

Kudos for making progress through your own mini mission here
You’re all very welcome. Coming closer, but still may have a teensy bit more time here.
