Hello everyone, I was writing a article and I was about halfway through my introduction when I clicked advanced editing. It switched, but it didn’t save. I’m not upset, but I found that it wouldn’t switch and save. So, just telling WikiHow writers, DON’T DO THIS! Hopefully everyone is having a awesome day, Yesgirl

Yeah, I know it happens. I did it once before; but luckily, I didn’t lose much info.

Just letting people in the community know! I don’t think it’s a bug, though.

Yours is good feedback, @Yesgirl . Maybe the engineers will find time to create a pop-up which would warn of impending data loss when a new article creator switches between guided and advanced editing modes.

It’s not a bug - not the kind of thing we file a bug report for. It’s more likely a rainy day project for the engineers or an intern or such:slight_smile:
