Personally, I think they should have their own cat…
Same. I tried cleaning up/categorizing articles in the video game categories before, and have seen some apps that have enough articles for their own category.

Whatever they are they’re not video games. Take it from a gamer. I agree with a mobile games category.

Ok then. Mobile games category it is. And then from there we could divide it up into subcategories like Angry Birds and all those other popular mobile games

I think it would work better under Video Games.
I think phones and gadgets as iGadget games are not video games.

Things for the iPad and the such aren’t “mobile games”. Also, the iPad isn’t considered a phone, thus why it’s in a different category. One can suggest a “Smartphone Games” category that can be put in http://www.wikihow.com/Category:Smartphones
with links provided. Aside from that, if it were to be put in “Video Games”, there needs to be a better summary name than just “Mobile Games”
We can put up a new category “Game apps” which will universally takeover all games on different platforms excluding PC, XBOX AND TV VIDEO GAMES.

If it was “Game Applications” (I hate abbreviations, especially in categories), there’s no real telling “what” game apps belong in there or what it’s supposed to be (from a newcomer’s point of view). You would want the category name to stand out so that a reader and/or a person categorizing new articles can identify it by looking at the title.
Yeah “Game applications” will be good as everyone knows them as apps which mostly include game stuffs when it comes to iphone , ipad, smart phones,etc. Believe me everyone knows them as apps,jar,jad or apk files.
