I noticed something peculiar on my article, Identify a Chow Chow . I added Identify a Shar-Pei as a related wikiHow, but it doesn’t show up under the “Related wikiHows” section. I thought this might’ve been because it was recently promoted and possibly needed some time to go through the system as a promoted article, but after a test on the Sandbox, it seems that all articles with hyphens don’t show up as related wikiHows. I tried it with Identify a Shar-Pei, Play WALL-E on PlayStation 2 , and Make Rice-a-Roni , all of which are promoted articles with hyphens in the title. None of them appeared in the related wikiHows section.

I did also try using the title without the hyphen (Identify a Shar Pei) and styled as Identify a Shar - Pei, but neither of these worked either.

Use this: %E2%80%90

If that doesn’t work, then change the title!

I’ll try your suggestion and edit this post to say if it worked.

But changing the title to remove hyphens that belong there probably won’t be done here:slight_smile:

Edit: Looks like the %E2%80%90 solution is the way to go. Will we have to do this every time, or will the hyphen be fixed (could just be a wiki thing that can’t be changed, but I thought I’d ask)?

This is likely to do with the way our system uses hyphens in place of spaces. It would go in the “just one of those things” category because I don’t think this would be something we could change. Glad you found a workaround - nice thinking @Unicorn293829

Alright, I see!

Yeah, I’ve found that’s worked in the past - adding that workaround where the hyphen should be. Great thinking @Unicorn293829 , @JayneG
