I’ve asked this a few times, but I have not gotten any official reply. Can the slowmode edit timer please be increased one wikiTwitter! I know that others have shown interest in this too. Currently, the timer only lets you edit your post for 1 hour, and then it locks and you can’t edit your own post. This is quite annoying since there are many times where I, and others, have wanted to edit their posts, but we could not because it was posted over an hour ago. I think that increasing it to 24 hours, if possible, would be a more reasonable time because it would give us plenty of time to edit out posts when we need too. Besides, the edit timer is essentially useless because nobody tries to abuse the edit feature. The feature is designed so that you can’t use the edit feature to essentially make another post within your current post. But the slowmode is only set to 1 minute, so it’s not needed at all because of how short it is. But, I know that I, and others, have been annoyed by the one hour timer, and I proposed increasing it to 24 hours. Others seemed to agree, but I have not received an official response despite posting about it in wikiTwitter multiple times, so I decided to ask here.

Can we please get the slowmode edit timer increased? Or at least some kind of response?

Hi @R2_d2000 this should be changed now - please let me know if it’s still not letting you edit after the hour.
