Say you want to use a referance image in an article. You upload it, implement it into the the article and are double-checking your work when you decide that another image would work better, or that you want to edit the image to better highlight a certain area or something.

Now you have two images, and one is inferior to the other.

Both were uploaded by me as a referance, with the second one being uploaded so that the reader’s attention would be drawn to the relavent information.

So my question is, can you delete the inferior image? Not delete as in remove it from the article, but delete as in to take down that image. Is there a way to do that as the original uploader, or do you have to request help from an admin or something?

Admins are the only ones able to delete images. See here if you want to know how to nominate an image for deletion. If you are confused, you may also add a message on the “Miscellaneous” section of the Admin Notice Board and an admin can still delete it, but adding a tag is easier.

Ok, thx for the help.
