Looks like the Category Guardian tool has piled up so much to the point that it’s stormy weather.  Not much work going on there, most likely since it’s one of the tools at the bottom of the Community Dashboard.

@Anna , do you think you can move the tool up a bit?  Or, at the least, I hope all my fellow editors are aware of this little situation.

In the long run, I def can - but I did just file a bug report for that one, since it seems like some items are potentially going 'round the queue more times than they should. I don’t want to frustrate folks by suggesting that tool up top if it might be buggy. For now, I’ll adjust the weather threshold a little so that nobody thinks it’s *such* an emergency that they need to struggle through a buggy tool! 

If folks do want to use it, though, go for it - I think the potential recurrence bug is relatively rare, so there’s still lots of good being done there, if you’re the type who can put up with a little glitchiness until an engineer is able to take a look:slight_smile:

Even if there’s a long queue, don’t worry - we’ll get through it in due course! When everything is smooth sailing, the processing of articles in that tool goes pretty quickly.

@Anna Yes, I do recall some items going around up to even ten times.  Huh, I thought that was resolved some time.  Oh well, good luck to the tech team!

There was an old bug that was resolved, yeah - this seems to be something new. I think and hope it’s relatively rare; lots of good still seems to be getting done in the tool. But I just don’t want to put a potentially buggy foot forward, until an engineer can have a look. 

It’s still fair game to use the tool - just wanted to let you know why I wasn’t going to put it up top just yet.

@Anna - I’m curious, what is the process for rearranging tools on the Community Dashboard? Is there some on-site page you edit (staff-only), or do you have to dive into the backend?:slight_smile:

There’s a staff page to change just the top three, ya. The layout of the others is an individual user setting from your Dashboard.
