I personally don’t really see a need for this. Barnstars aren’t meant for general things like people using the Community Dashboard, they’re meant for people who are doing extraordinary things, and we have plenty of specific barnstars for those kinds of people. And as-is, we’ve been talking about whether people are misunderstanding what barnstars are really meant for and/or are awarding them without really understanding the weight they carry, so adding another one, especially one that could be awarded so broadly, feels like it would end up cheapening the worth of a barnstar.

I don’t support the creation. I personally think that we have enough barnstars, and like Galactic Radiance said, branstars are for extrordinary things. We have enogh awards already, so I don’t think we need to create more.

Yes, the addition of a new Barnstar like this will bring down the value of one. It seems lately as if they are being handed out for fun, and the addition of a Barnstar for an average task would lessen the value even more. I’m opposed to this idea.
