Hi all, same story as it was in the beginning of redesign… I was creating an article and clicked on “Edit Category” … entered “gmail” in and nothing -no action … I got out of a category screen intending to continue with the article … then a category menu appeared from “nowhere” … I clicked on Gmail and it did NOT do anything. Nothing at all. I saw " not categorized" words. I am going to do it manually, but I wanted to let you guys know.

Thanks Laura! I know that has been a buggy feature at times; it is working for me right now, but since we’re probably using different browsers, it may be acting up for you based on that. Sorry for the frustration, but I’m glad you’re able to add it manually! Thanks for doing that. Since the upgrade is rolling out tomorrow, let’s wait and see how that goes for you. I just tested it on the upgrade test site and it was working, so hopefully we’ll get the same on the live site after the upgrade rolls
Hi @Anna
, OK. Hopefully.
I have a quick question, but not sure if this is a good place to ask. On the same article http://www.wikihow.com/Remove-Contacts-from-Gmail
I wanted to add a “Related wikiHow” section AFTER I published it (I forgot to do it during LOL) but I did not see this option in Edit mose. Is there a way to add a section after publishing??

Sure thing, Laura! Here’s an article on it: http://www.wikihow.com/Add-Related-wikiHows
Long story short, the way that works in every kind of editor (Guided or Advanced) is to click on “Edit” in the floating header (the big green bar) and select “Manage Related wikiHows” from there. Check out that article for more details, but let me know if you have questions!
@Anna
, I just went to mu User page and it’s completely empty.
I mean COMPLETELY. No articles listed, no contributions listed, nothing. I wanted to open my new article and do what you told me about Suggested wikiHows and I did not see any at all. Like I never created. I am too upset to create a screenshot . Please take a look and see what you see. Did someone erase my home page, a vandal? Please restore. I am in shock!
@Laura7491
I am sorry that you are upset. Hmm, here is a screenshot of what I see: http://www.wikihow.com/Image:User-page-help.jpg
It could also be an upgrade bug. Maybe try clearing your cache or refreshing the page?
Hi @Adelaide
, refreshing page did not help. It’s back now after I rebooted my computer. It has never happened before, ever. I was panicking.
I agree, that’s an unusual issue. I’m glad that rebooting your computer worked for you, though. Hope you feel better?
@Anna
, not to worry, my user page is back. I was panicking when I saw a totally empty page. Adelaide could be correct - an upgrade bug… or who knows what it was. Now, about Related wikiHows… Thanks to you I got them added. I have not used an “Edit” on the big green toolbar, and didn’t even think about using it… LOL When I clicked on “Edit article” I did not see an option. I think we saw it before redesign. Thanks for your help, Anna.
Hi again @Adelaide1230
… I feel so much better. I didn’t know what to think, to be honest - hacked, wiped by vandal, etc. Jeez… back in business now. LOL Thank you.

Sorry for the frustration @Laura7491
- I’m glad it’s all back to normal now!
@Anna
, it happens… Thanks!
