hi I have a dilemma, I have 2 facebook group which I zinced, and my own account linked to them, but one of my groups I chose to have a separate email address for and then also decided to set up a separate facebook account/profile so it was not linked to my personal facebook profile for privacy reasons and so I could handle the messages and group info as admin away from my own personal facebook account.
but I was deleting old unused email accounts one eve which I dont use as I was looking through my google passwords which show the attached email accounts, and got rid of some I did not use, but in doing so I ended up deleting the email address linked to the group I set up separately as mentioned, so when I tried to access as admin the group I could not as it was originally a saved email address/password automatically taking me in, and then, i had been always accessing that group by saved login details, I couldnt remember the email address I used, or password, so I had realised that on deleting old emails that one of them i deleted was the one for this group soley for that facebook group that i didnt need to go in to look at often. so then i tried to find it in my google account at the email addresses saved with passwords linked, hoping i could find it, but i have totally erased it.
i did not have a contact email address linked to the deleted email address as i made that mistake of creating one to get back into my account, but now realise since ive totally erased the email address linked to that facebook group i created i cannot act as admin .
. it shows my admin facebook user group name on the profile page etc, but i cannot act as admin any more. i dont remember the email address i deleted for it and the password, so i have tried everything, but i have left my group in limbo so to speak, with no control over it. now on my group i am getting disassociating messages from some members writing on there about things that have nothing to do with the groups title or content i set it up for, and some are getting into heated discussions about things that are irrelevant to the group, and as i have no control over the group i cannot deal with the messages they are writing. what frustrates me is i cannot contact facebook at all as there is no one of authority to put this right, its disgraceful that facebook earn millions from advertising etc within the site yet have not set up any contact within it for its members. they are disregarding and washing thier hands of any assistance that could help to rectify issues as mine.
i doubt anyone here can help me as i have been trawling through google and facebook etc for any way to get advice on this but o no avail. its come to this i am on this site and hoping someone might know a way to assist since facebook are useless.i
