Happy Friday- almost Saturday everyone! This is just a friendly PSA. It is stronglyadvised to never give out personal information or off site contact on the internet, particularly if you are younger. Even on a friendly website like wikiHow there could be weird people lurking. Not everyone is who they say they are on the web.

I know we say this a lot but we’re not trying to cramp your style or be a grump. We genuinely want to see you safe and happy. Personally, I am an adult and have been on this site for many years and there are a handful of times I have given off site contact information, including my email. (And most of those were wikiHow staff)

Also, please note. That if you are ever in an uncomfortable situation, or something doesn’t seem right. Even if you have moved off of wikiHow. Please, try to talk to a trusted adult in your life, or feel free to message myself or any admin here. We would be happy to help. It is nevertoo late.

You’re welcome. It can! I wanted to make sure people know that not only is it important to be safe but it’s also important to reach out and ask for help. It can be hard. Especially if you’re in a bit deep but it’s never too late.
