I’m writing to let everyone know that wikiHaus team members are posting empty pages to host videos for some long-form courses that are in development (currently on using Zoom and improving your credit score). These pages will just have placeholder content on them and code for a video. A few examples are below:
https://www.wikiHow.com/wikiHow-Plus-Zoom-in-Everyday-Life
https://www.wikiHow.com/wikiHow-Plus-Getting-Started-with-Zoom
https://www.wikihow.com/Credit1
https://www.wikihow.com/Credit2
These pages will have tags on them and if you open the page for editing, you’ll see a comment like “This video is part of the course, Zoom for Beginners, accessible at https://www.wikihow.com/Course/Zoom-for-Beginners-Curriculum
”.
If you come across these in NAB or elsewhere, please don’t NFD them or otherwise change the pages.

Okay, yes I was wondering what those are.
Just so that you know, these pages are showing up in the Categorizer App, and some users are categorizing them.

Thanks. I’m going to work with the people uploading these pages to make sure they end up in the right place, probably the wikiHow category.
Just to be clear on this: does this also mean that if we come across these pages in NAB for whatever reason, we shouldn’t promote or demote them? @Chris_H

That’s correct. You can ignore in NAB.
I also checked with Vanna about categories, and they’re going to work on getting them categorized sooner in the process, which should keep most of them out of the categorizer app.

Thanks for mentioning this. I accidentally started deleting the broken redirects, until I realised it was a staff member making them. I think I restored all of them however.
