I’m totally interested to use and work on wikihow as I found it’s very useful to me and others What do ‘Rising Stars’ ‘random article’ ‘spell check’ ’ patrol changes’ mean??
A Rising Star is an award giving to the best new articles, spell checking is going through articles making sure there are no spelling mistakes, random article will just give you a random subject to write an article about and patrol changes means you check each new edit to make sure it’s useful/relevant :).

Actually, when you click the “Random article” button, the system flip you to whatever article it feels like flipping you to. Each time you click this button, you might end up in completely different territories of the site.

I just joined so I know how you feel. I don’t really know how to work wikihow yet either. I already got lost in all the cool looking buttons that are on the top.

when you just log in there is a button that says random article. you click that.

There is also a way you can specify which articles you can write and you can answer requests. There is a way you can edit other peoples articles and request articles.
