If an anonymous user visits certain articles on wikiHow with expert answers in Community Q&A, then the answers are normally obscured from view unless they unlock them. However, a user can circumvent this protection by using developer tools in their browser to view the answer. As an example, if you visit How to Apply for a Homestead Exemption in Florida
, you can open developer tools and scroll down to the Expert Q&A section. Then, you can use the pick and embedded element feature to select the answer portion of the Answer that you want to view, and then scroll down in developer tools to view the answer. I have included an image of this. The section outlined in green is what I selected, and the section outlined in red is the answer.
I am seeing this on Mozilla Firefox 88.0.1 on Windows 10 21H1 (both are the latest version), but I assume that this is the same for every platform and browser.
Also, I don’t think that this is a major issue, since you can also view this answer by simply creating a user account, but I wanted to report it anyways just in case there are any plans that use this feature in the future that may be affected by this.

Yeah, there are a couple of workarounds that I don’t think there are any plans to change at the moment, but appreciate you bringing it up R2
