I’m a junior high student, and the big project for me in English class for the next few weeks is to write a persuasive research report on a great American who lived before the twentieth century. I decided to write my report on Jefferson Davis (I think all of you wikiTwitter users would have known that), and my thesis sentence (a sentence that states my opinion any why I hold the opinion) was as follows: “Jefferson Davis is an American patriot instead of a traitor because he did not like seceding, he did not hate the North, and he did what he knew was right.” After writing the thesis sentence, I got to find sources with which I can write my research report. The requirement was to find five sources that are not encyclopedias (including Wikipedia), and three must be books. May any kindhearted wikiHowian suggest to me a good source? A big thank-you to all who do!
Don’t know what to say as wikipedia is a good source, but I found a few.
