Wondering, I thought we might consider a bot that puts {{Nfdtag}} on users’ talk pages when the abuse filter for “Possible non-admin/booster removing nfd tag”, in case they go unnoticed in RCP. Thanks for your suggestions.
From what I understand about the abuse filters, they’re still in testing and aren’t currently being used for anything, but are planning to be. This seems like it would be a great idea, though, and it sounds easy enough to implement. I fully support this.

But as patrollers, wouldn’t it seem more fit to have a human eye double check if the questionable edit was indeed a nfd tag removal either out of ‘vandalism’, ‘unfairness’, or one of those ‘epically shot-in-the-dark expansions’? Does wikiHow need yet another bot to do something patrollers are supposed to look out for, especially if the edit summary is that specific, and coach everyone that removes a tag as well?
@Maluinu
I see your point. An alternative would be to have a “confirm” button next to the tag, which automatically sends {{Nfdtag}}.

With that, I have no idea how hard it is for one to open a talk page and type 10 characters over an easy button route?

Interestingly enough, the “Abuse Filter” is currently being used to find constructive edits that people do.
