hi! I have been on wikihow for a little over a month or so and I am still learning, but I have noticed that people (newbies in particular, like the ones who have only been on a day or so,) have been editing messages, some important, off my page and I don’t know why. it will show that I got a message from the person, then it shows that someone went and removed them so I have to click view changes to see them. is there anyway I can stop this?

Hi Farmgirl! I looked at the history, and it seems the users typically reverting talk page messages are new users to the site. If you see it happening again, feel free to send them a message explaining that very few talk page messages should be reverted (such as those with users stating that they are underage, or bullying), or pass it along to an experienced user:slight_smile:

I’ve had a similar problem to day and in my attempt to undo it I have made my talk page worse! Any help to get my barnstar award back in the right place with the correct words would be v v v gratefully appreciated! SarahB

@SarahB I restored your talk page to the last revision that shows the barnstar properly.

it happened again! only this time the person had been on for days!:frowning:I will try to make it clear that I don’t appreciate people deleting messages on my talk page.:frowning:
