When I post a certain template on someones talk page, it comes out blank, but when you refresh it, the template shows. I have only found this out with nfd templates and copyvio templates, but not any other templates. I’ve discovered this too when sending four tildes as an example of what it does. The tildes showed as tildes until I refreshed.

I have also noticed that when I use my four tildes as usual, they don’t convert into my signature until I refresh. This is weird.

I haven’t seen the one with tildes, but will see if it happens with that, too.

No, it only happens with templates with me.

No. This is not about a gap, this is about the template messages coming out blank.

Reuben responded to that thread Hailey, stating what is going on. This not only relates to talk page messages, it refers to templates too. It’s not a bug. A simple refresh isn’t a bug. The HTML has to parse, and sometimes a refresh is necessary. It’s all part of programming and coding.:slight_smile:

This is a bug that I caused while fixing another (to show the avatars after posting), and I will push out the fix on Monday.
