I just tried to suggest a new title to an article, but when I tried to publish the edit, it triggered the spam filter? Shouldn’t that have been triggered when the article had the link inserted into it? I removed the link without a problem.

Perhaps the link’s address was added to the blacklist afterthe link was put into the article? Thus the spam filter would just be triggered at the next edit to the article.

I’ve seen numerous times where WRM’s original links would bypass the spam filter (due to it being like blogspot or another whole blocked domain). In all other cases, it’s usually when a link gets inserted, patrolled/left there, but later blacklisted somewhere else, etc. Thereafter, the next person that attempts to edit the article would get triggered by the filter unless the link is 100% removed.
