On any article that is not accessible to a logged out reader, such as a demoted or stubbed article, the edit tab that normally appears in the top right corner of the screen next to the “Help Us” tab, does not show up. This can cause issues when trying to access some of the tools that can only be easily accessed via the edit tab. The tab does show up on promoted articles though.

. This was removed around a month ago because of another bug, but it looks like it might be able to go back on for logged in users. I’ll keep you posted
