Please list resources that are helpful in the context of editing or writing on wikiHow Suggestions can be your favorites or ones that few know about. They can be onsite or external, free or paid, widely known or obscure, your “go tos”, anything really. A few details might help.I will start: wikiHow Writers Guide wikiHow whitelist wikiHow multiple image upload link (I will add links later)
When editing images to describe something better in an Article, I use GIMP, which is a paintbrush tool available for Linux, Windows and Mac. An other thing I use, would be my Terminal, which I need to take screenshots(most handy thing for me). I use Google when I’m unsure about a certain subject, and it gives me a broad idea if there are other articles like the one I’m about to write. Reading some Featured articles(none in particular) helps me personally to see how to do things better. I’m not sure if it will help anyone, but that are my resources that I use before I write an article.

An amazing resource to capture screenshots and add arrows, boxed ,text etc to them would be the free software Jing. It’s available for windows and is a tool which comes in very handy when taking screenshots.

I like greenshot too.
@Anna
introduced me to Jing.
The following is clear and concise, yet complete. It was shared via message, so I pass it on: I compose articles in Wordpad, other word processors, putting == Steps == on one line, and put # as the first character of each step (#* for sub step). Hit enter after each step, but do not skip a line between step-paragraphs – that’s automatically done by wH system and, putting == Tips == on one line – then putting * as the first character of each tip. Hit enter after each tip, Save, edit on your computer, then highlight, copy, and then open the advanced edit mode of wikiHow editor, to paste a completed article into the single window (not into guided mode which has 1/2 doz special purpose window-sections.

For boosters, I like http://www.wikihow.com/Special:Newarticleboost?limit=4500
It shows all articles that need to be boosted, not just the first few. Also, http://www.wikihow.com/Special:ProposedRedirects
Keep writing, and DFTBA!
