While patrolling, I found this article that had been butchered a YEAR ago. Not pointing fingers or trying to lay blame, but we need to keep an eye out. http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Get-More-Followers-on-Twitter&action=history
Wow…I can’t believe no - one noticed that.

Me either. The formatting on the top of the article was all messed up.
I can’t see it, was it the image that was bad?

I think she’s referring to this revision: http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Get-More-Followers-on-Twitter&oldid=5713664
I’ve seen stuff like this happen too; last night I found an article that had had the steps section wiped out for a while. It’s always good while you’re patrolling to scroll down and have a glance at the article and make sure it looks normalish

A year? Goodness. How did nobody catch that?!

That’s a better example, yes. I had one of these with just a single step remaining earlier today. It’s not so much paying attention as being caught out by those multiple anon edits before patrol hits it. Tricky things and even the experienced can be caught out.

Oh yeah…I was surprised to not see my name show up in that lineup. In fact, if I patrolled more often, it very well could have been!!!

How on earth did those get by?!
Ugg. I also occasionally check page history to look for these sort of things. I find them more than I would like.

Well, it’s good to see that this tool will be useful in catching stuff like that…!
