I would like to request that the NFD templates be updated to include more items. Some new templates would include:

pla: plagiarizing another article on wikiHow

por: pornographic links or pictures

mal: links contain malware or viruses

exp: explicit links or photos

fam: not family-friendly

Please consider these new items. Thank you and have a nice day.

Hi, thanks for sharing your suggestion. I do not think they are all necessary, however. Plagiarising another wikiHow would be considered a duplicate. Pornographic links and pictures will usually be from sexually explicit articles (i.e. {{nfd|sex}}). If the article isn’t problematic, but the pictures and links are, they can be removed and images can be nominated for speedy deletion. Similar to above. It is likely articles with links containing malware or viruses are usually deleted anyway, but if the article isn’t a problem, just the links, the links can be removed. Same goes for explicit links or photos. “Family friendly” can mean different things to different people. Of course wikiHow does not contain any vulgar language and and sexual articles are deleted. Articles such as “ Make Sex Better ” are kept as they are not going into how to specifically have sex, thus shouldn’t be deleted. Of course while a young child shouldn’t find any use in these steps, it won’t be permanently scarring. Thanks for sharing your view on this. This is just my opinion and I would like to hear what other editors have to say about this.

It might seem like I agree with everyone, but I agree; we already have solutions to all of the suggested.

^^Very well put.
