A user left @Adelaide a message saying: “hey Adelaide. even though I’m in the fifth grade their is a lot of love flying around and I only dated someone for like two days in tell I thought about breaking up with him, so could you maybe make an article about how to deal with you ex, please because he is doing all this crazy stuff so I will go out with him :l which i DON’T want to.” Fifth grade? Wouldn’t that user be about 10, if not 11?

Thanks for your concern. Unless a user explicitly states his or her age, we won’t take action. We don’t use school grade to determine age. Someone could be older or younger than the usual age for that grade, or they may be in a school that has different ages for the grades than what you are used to. In the future, if you see someone explicitly revealing that they are under 13, please report it on the Administrator Notice Board here: http://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:Administrator-Notice-Board

@OoT2D and @Isorhythymic , I disagree with you because in some countries education is slow, (especially in english medium schools of non english native countries). I turned 13 when I was in 5th grade! But at that time, “love did not fly” around like this user!

@King-Ikhtiar You actually helped my point, because it just further proves we can’t use “grade level” to determine “age.” There are too many variables.
