@Technist - https://www.wikihow.com/Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-wikihow gives a checkbox for opting out of the automated welcoming messages. I seem to remember that boosters and admins are included by default.

Yep, not a bug.:slight_smile:You’re a booster so you’ll be included in the rotation as well! Feel free to unchecked the box Alabaster linked you above to opt out. By the way, Welcomer refers to access to a specific tool that allows access to welcoming newbies in a more accessible way.:slight_smile:

I think @Marina meant that you are a “booster” not a “welcome”:slight_smile:Boosters and admins are automatically opted-in to being used by the WelcomeBot, so if you want to opt-out, use the link @Alabaster supplied to change that preference.
