I have been working in the LGBT(Q) sub category and working around this article: https://www.wikihow.com/Get-a-Straight-Guy-to-Kiss-You-(Guys)

This article makes me uneasy. Although it was NFD six years ago, it was not removed. Simply put, I find it disturbing—‘trying’ to convince a straight guy who (most likely) isn’t attracted to men to kiss you (for guys) just doesn’t seem right.

In the discussion section of the article (6 years ago) Luna Rose said “This article could probably use reviewing by an editor who is an expert on sexuality, to determine how realistic the steps are.” However, I personally believe that this article should be completely removed. I’m not sure. Thoughts on the article or ways we could change/improve it? Thanks!

I agree that it’s not a great topic, but I don’t think it necessarily meets any of the deletion policy criteria. Having editors from all over the world means that there are a very wide range of opinions and feeling about almost every topic on the site! We love the diversity we have, but it also means that we don’t have a single concept of what is socially acceptable.

However, saying that, this article isn’t likely something that will be published as-is at this stage, so I’d say skipping it could be a completely reasonable option! I’ve gone ahead and made sure it’s demoted, so it wouldn’t be able to go live on the site without further review from a booster anyway.
