Only admins can close threads, but why? The creator of a thread should be able to close a thread they own, besides an admin. You see, it’s their thread! They should close it if they want to.
That would make sense although admins should also still be able to close threads, you know the type. I guess people can’t close their own threads because if they do then there might be a lot of closings of perfectly good threads (though I guess it is their decision) and people might create threads just so they can close them.
