Well ever since starting my talk page has been filled with messages about image not suitable for the article !When we are searching for a particular topic many images come but without any names displayed to them so an image adder is always confused whether the image he’s adding will have the image name suitable for the the article or not.The image shows its name only when you insert it and in its final preview it shows the name!, if you click ok its accepted and if you cancel it or close it, it moves on to next article without adding image to previous article (time wasted) plus if someone chooses no preview he chooses only because it makes browsing fast! and image adding easy! but accidentally puts wrong images to the articles. so what am trying to say is that the images shown in image adder application should also display the images name in search results!

Perhaps I am not understanding you correctly, but are you saying that you judge whether to add an image to an article by the file name of the image rather than the content of the image itself? I’m just trying to better understand what the issue is at hand. Personally, I think the file name is not of critical importance when choosing whether or not to add an image an article. Instead, we should be focusing on whether that particular image accurately represents the step in question or the focus of the article.

Eric you should say this thing to guardians who judge perfectly suited images to an article by seeing its name and not by image! Am not disputing about those images which are really not suitable but the ones which are suitable but are merely removed because the image name doesn’t match the article.

If I am reading this correctly… >You’ve gotten many messages about your image picks being rejected >You can only see image names in the image picker, not what they look like >The tool should be enhanced so that you can see the images as well My advice… 1. Don’t use Image Picker - I groan whenever I see “Image Picker” as an edit because it usually means I have to do some removing in either QG or RCP. If you want to add an image do it manually. 2. If you are to use Image Picker, open another tab and load the picture you are considering in that tab. In other words, do your research. 3. In any case, make sure the picture complements the article well. If you can’t find a picture like that, don’t add a picture at all OR find a picture, obtain permission for its use (or specify fair use, whatever the case may be), and upload it to wherever it is images for wikis are stored, then use it. 4. Don’t use Image Picker; just do something else.

Thumps up to your advice IShareMahKnowledgeWisely ! Finally some action, I can now concentrate on other things thanks to you IShareMahKnowledgeWisely ! “YOU ARE AWESOME AS ALWAYS” Genius_Knight
