Gloria Hines

Gloria Hines is a Certified Professional Midwife based in South Kansas City, Missouri. Along with her business partner Rebekah Hoover, she started Glory Birth, an organization focused on a variety of midwifery services, including prenatal care, birth support, postpartum visits, and more. She began her midwifery journey in 2017, and has been trained in breech by Dr. Stu with Birthing Instincts, Dr. Hayes and Dr. Rixa Freeze with Breech without Borders, and Augustine Colebrooke with Midwifery Wisdom Collective. She graduated with GoMidwife in 2019 and did the apprenticeship PEP route to become a CPM. She passed her board exam in March of 2021. She attended over 200 births under the training of Amber Walla. After graduating, Gloria was hired by Debbie Perry and worked with her for 2 years. Her continuing education includes peer review, NRP, CPR, spinning babies, online courses, conferences and workshops. Today, she has attended over 450 births and serves women all over Kansas and Missouri. She is a Certified Professional Midwife through the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM). Her ultimate goal in midwifery is to change the worldwide statistics for maternal and neonatal mortality rates. She seeks to raise up midwives and send them back to their communities, causing a ripple effect and raising the bar for maternity care and saving lives.
