How did wikiHow come to be?

wikiHow has an unofficial mascot named Blobbert. Blobbert is an adorable, green, amorphous blob with an insatiable thirst for how-to knowledge. While rarely pictured on the site, he can be seen on the wikiHow homepage header image reading about how to grow plants. Blobbert’s birthday is January 15th which corresponds with the founding of wikiHow.
