Duration
Self-paced. We recommend one project per day, but move at the speed that makes sense for your child (and you)!
Time
Project completion times vary, but your child should expect to spend 1-3 hours on each project.

Course Overview
5 Science Projects
Project 1: A Galactic Roller Coaster
Design, decorate, and build your own galactic roller coaster that gives you cool scientific insights into how objects use energy to move. Let's get rolling!
Project 2: A Shooting Star Car
Learn about shooting stars while making an awesome little motorized car!
Project 3: An Astronaut Launcher
Parabolic flight might sound fancy, but our digestible explanations will have your child totally engrossed. Plus, they'll get to make an astronaut launcher.
Project 4: A Planet Merry Go Round
Build a merry go round featuring the planets in our solar system! Then, once it's built, explore how objects rotate around a fixed point (just like planets moving around the sun!)
Project 5: An Asteroid Catching Game
Get the inside scoop on asteroids, then make an Asteroid Catching Game and see how many asteroids you can grab with your magnetic rocket ship!

How much supervision will these projects need from me?
Some supervision will be required, depending on your child's age and learning style. Kids who are 4-5 years old will need a lot of guidance, while kids ages 7-8 can often follow the instructions on their own.

Once you've completed the enrollment process, you'll be able to download the course as a PDF. Gather the supplies using our handy lists. Your child can then go through the written instructions and images to complete each project.
