Good second date ideas?
So. Recently went on a first date and we clicked super well. We said we have to get together again soon, and now I'm suddenly at a loss for ideas of what to do. I'd love to find something where we can still talk and learn more about each other just to make sure they're the right person, but I want to show off my fun side too! Now taking any suggestions that you got!
So the best date ideas are always ones that involve movements, I'm a huge fan of walks—walks around rivers, walks through places you enjoy, exploring, anywhere that you just get really curious about. It could be a shopping mall, an arcade, even a bowling alley. Basically any date where there's going to be a lot of movement. Even if you want to grab dinner, get takeout and walk somewhere with it, like sitting and eating on a park bench. Just pick somewhere that you want to explore and walk around the area together.
I've had success with mall dates as a second date! I think these work well because as you're walking around the mall, you'll run into things that make for great conversation starters. Different topics will naturally come up as you meander through different stores and people watch.
Here's a trick to make mall dates even more effective: schedule them for an hour or two before the mall closes. If the date's not going super well, it provides you with a natural end to the date. But if the date IS going well, then you two can walk around after the mall is closed and will have a private, safe area to walk around that sets the perfect ambiance for more deep, vulnerable conversation. I did mall dates for my first and second date with my current boyfriend and they were 5 and 6 hours long!

I like activity dates! Something like mini golf, bowling, going to an arcade. It makes for a relaxed atmosphere and you get to see how fun they are. Plus a little bit of friendly competition can make the vibe more playful and flirty. Try to avoid any venues that are too loud for conversation though.
Show + dinner is a classic combo! Especially funny shows or movies can help release some feel-good chemicals as you watch them together. If the vibes are right you may be able to get away with some light physical contact during the show, like holding hands or letting your shoulders touch. The show also gives you something to chat about over dinner!
